2017 Northern Conference Junior Girls and Youth Girls Competitions
In big news for our club, Wembley Junior Football Club will be hosting every game of the 2017 Junior Girls and Youth Girls Competitions!
Building on last season there will be two age groupings for teams in 2017:
- Junior Girls: Year 4 - Year 6
- Youth Girls: Year 7 - Year 9
The Competition format is designed to give girls of all levels the chance to develop their skills and have fun playing Australian Rules Football.
With the AFL Women’s competition now a reality, every girl can dream of playing in the national league and WJFC can be your first step along the way.
Please don’t worry if you think you won’t know anyone. This is a great way to meet other girls and young women who love footy!

The District is hosting a “Come and Try” afternoon at Wembley Sports Park (Wembley Oval) on Wednesday 15 March 2017 from 5.00pm to 6:30pm with the Fremantle Dockers Women’s team on hand to give skills advice and the inside word on what the new AFL Women’s competition is like.
